Getting Started with the Freestyle Team

Ages: 8 - 18

Ability: Intermediate skiing skills are the minimum required to participate.

About our program: The team training will focus upon freestyle and bump skiing,while addressing skills necessary for successful skiing on all terrain and in all snow conditions. We train on natural, groomed, and manually enhanced terrain. Participants will have the opportunity to compete throughout the season.

Program Director: Johann Furr, USSA Certified Official, TD & Coach.

Coaches:- Willi Furr - past team member and competitor. Andy Hanks - past US Freestyle Team Member

Program details:.  Directed towards the more accomplished skier who is looking towards regional and national freestyle competition.  This program begins December 5th and runs through the competition season or March 13th.  Team members will learn the techniques required to successfully ski and compete in the bumps, jumps, big air, and halfpipe competitions. 

Competition Info: A specific competition schedule will be determined as the divisional and regional competitions are scheduled.  Freestylle members are not required to attend competitions. All interested skiers are encouraged to become a team member and enjoy the benefits of the team atmosphere and coaching guidance.

Program benefits: A season pass is included in the membership fees.
